Top 5 Instagrammable Spots in Page, AZ
Hey everyone!! Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving! I for one have been eating turkey for days now, and am ready to not see turkey again for another year!
I took a nice break from writing last week and am ready to return with a new list for your visit to Page, AZ.
Social media is a pretty big thing in modern times (I don’t know if you noticed!), so even though I have a list of the Top 9 Things to do in Page, I wanted to give a more concise list of the best places in Page to post on your Instagram! As it turns out Page has some pretty Instagrammable locations!! This list is not all-inclusive, but it’s my top 5 picks of places to share on social media! If you want tips or directions, click on any of the links below to read my full posts!
1. Upper Antelope Canyon

Seeing as how this is one of the most photographed slot canyons in the world, it kind of seems obvious that this would be a top place to post on social media! This canyon is super dark and tripods aren’t allowed, so don’t expect crystal clear awesome shots unless you pay for the photography tour! Sometimes the tour guides will help you pick the right settings on your phones for the best pics…so don’t be afraid to ask! My parents used their phones and were able to capture some pretty good shots!
2. Lower Antelope Canyon

Although you are not as likely to see the infamous light beams of the Upper Antelope Canyon, the Lower Canyon has overall better lighting which makes it way easier to get awesome pics without paying for a photography tour. It was also longer and felt less crowded since there was no two-way traffic like at the Upper Canyon. It’s definitely worthy of adding to any social media profile!
3. Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is a pretty iconic spot when one thinks of an Arizona/Grand Canyon trip. I think it would be a tragedy to see the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and not make time for Horseshoe Bend! I arrived at sunrise to beat the crowds but the best lighting is actually midday when there are not prominent shadows in the canyon. Whenever you go, be prepared to be impressed!
4. Rainbow Bridge National Monument

Although technically in Utah, there are boat tours departing from Wahweap Marina in Page that will take you to this natural wonder! Pictures really don’t do Rainbow Bridge justice. You can’t understand the magnitude of it unless you visit in person! It’s also not a spot that is on the regular tourist stops due to the difficulty in getting to it.
5. Wahweap Overlook

Scenic Vistas? Check. Glen Canyon Dam? Check. Dramatic Colors on the distant rock walls? Double check. Wahweap Overlook is a great, free spot to get a birds-eye view of Lake Powell and the surrounding area. It’s not far from Page and, well, did I mention it’s free??
Well ,there you have it folks! A short and sweet list of the most Instagrammable Places in Page, AZ! Hope this has helped you with planning your next Arizona trip!
Don’t forget to leave me a comment and tell me what you think!
Until next time!
