About Me!

 

  Hey guys! My name is Sara. This page is for those who want to know a little about me!  I grew up a big city girl from Texas, and even though Texas will always be special to me, I am a gypsy at heart! I’ve had quite the life experiences since starting my life with my other half in 2010! I’ve lived in a tent, I’ve been in a flash flood, I’ve lived in an RV, I’ve traveled a lot and survived nursing school – just to name a few! I’m an RN who’s passionate about life and loves a good road trip! I’m not a traveling nurse, as the name of my blog might suggest, but I definitely wouldn’t rule it out in the future!

To tell you a little about myself, I’m married to my best friend in the whole world, I have the best German Shepherd dog, and we have two kids! I wondered while I was pregnant about how Motherhood would change my traveling ways. Turns out it only slows you down as much as you allow it! If you’re willing to do the prep work, pack half of your house, and keep track of your littles everywhere you go, you can travel as much as you did before! I always feel a little regret about the work I’m about to do the night before a trip as I’m packing up everything I need, but I’m always glad we went when I come home.

 

Why did I start a travel blog? In another life I definitely would have been a travel agent. Researching places I want to travel to is my favorite hobby…second to actually traveling to them! To me, there’s nothing worse than finding pictures of awesome places online, and then no information on how to get there or any tips! I promise to fix those flaws in this blog! Since leaving my hometown in 2010, I’ve moved to 9 different cities across 3 states! I’m currently living in Fort Worth, TX, and plan to be here awhile!  Follow my blog for guaranteed beautiful pictures and great travel tips!
