If you’re just starting out planning your trip to the Grand Canyon, then I want to stop right here and offer my condolences. Seriously!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – it’s a monumental task to plan a trip to…

10 Things You Can’t Miss at the Grand Canyon’s South Rim!
I’ll be honest with you…it’s a little overwhelming to plan a trip to the Grand Canyon National Park. There’s basically a million web pages out there with tons of suggestions on what to see, where to eat, what to wear, what time to wake up, and how many pairs of underwear you should pack. It’s a monumental task just to sift through all that information alone! So what did I decide to do?? Write another post about it! I mean seriously, can you really call yourself a travel blogger if you visit the Grand Canyon and you don’t write a post about it?? I think not. So even though this information…

Everything You Need to Know to Visit Hermit’s Rest at the Grand Canyon National Park!
Hello again! I feel like I’ve been writing about Page and the Grand Canyon forever at this point, but I am now on my third and final leg of posts from my epic trip to Arizona that I took last September with my family! This is the first post I’ve written about the iconic South Rim, and it’s covering one of my favorite spots there! The South Rim was very different from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The South Rim was larger and it offered more attractions than the North. One such attraction is known as Hermit’s Rest, which is located at the end of the historic Hermit’s Road. Trust me when…

Hiking in the Grand Canyon’s North Rim: Transept Trail
Hello everyone! Many of you know that I went on an epic trip to Arizona last year with my family that included Page, the North Rim, and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! We had a great time in all three places, but I’m pretty sure the North Rim was the most enjoyable stop we made! We saw some pretty epic things in Page, but it was close to 100 degrees in September which is pretty uncool. The North Rim had beautiful scenery and was at a high enough elevation for cooler temps, which was a relief! (Click here to read all my posts on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim!) We didn’t spend…

The Ultimate One Day Itinerary for The Grand Canyon’s North Rim
Last September my family and I traveled to Arizona to see what was up with one of the Seven Wonders of the World…i.e., the Grand Canyon. We traveled for 9 days to three different locations: Page, the North Rim, and the infamous South Rim. I wasn’t a newbie to Arizona but I had never been to any of these three locations. You could say I was pretty stoked to see some new territory! After our bursting-at-the-seams scheduling in Page, AZ, I began to wonder how we were going to top all the awesome activities we just did! Despite my fear, I knew I was in for another treat as soon as I stepped out…

The Ultimate Guide for Planning a Trip to The Grand Canyon’s North Rim
If you’re planning on traveling to the Grand Canyon, you’ve got to make time in your itinerary to see both the North and the South Rim! Let’s be honest – how many times do you think you’ll travel to the Grand Canyon in your life? If you’re like most people it’s probably going to be a one-time thing, so you might as well take the extra couple of days and see both sides! Planning a trip to the Grand Canyon requires a lot of patience – particularly on the South Rim. I booked all my room reservations over a year in advance, and I booked all of our activities in Page, AZ about six…
